After working for Peter Shipway for many years, Mark bought the business when Peter retired.
Mark's depth of experience in the real estate industry is consistently showing itself in the
rapid rate of growth of Shipway every year. From the highest service levels in the industry to
hand picking many of the staff, Mark has consistently broken real estate records over the years
and continues to do so growing the business.

CARLINGFORD
Established for over 30 years, Shipway Realty has developed a unique knowledge of our local
market place. Phenomenal success and an unblemished reputation to customer service have
seen the business grow rapidly to be today the dominant force in the local area.
EASTWOOD
Founded in 1996, Property Solutions (Eastwood) Pty Ltd has established itself as one of Eastwood's leading and arguably one of the most respectable agencies. Located in the heart of Eastwood, our office has one of the highest profiles in the area. We are a Multi-cultural office with staff members who speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Polish and Ukraine. In 2007, we joined the Shipway Realty group.
GLADESVILLE
Gladesville's oldest established agency was formed by Arthur Sheerin, a former RAAF, in 1965
and later his sons Peter and Ross later joined him.
The office occupies the landmark location on Victoria Road once known as Fox's Garage and later
operated by local identity Kinsley Warburton - it si one of only a few remaining original businesses
in Gladesville.
The Sheerin family have a long history with the district as far back as their great grandfather,
architect, Joseph Sheerin who was responsible for landmarks such as St Josephs College, Hunters Hill
and Holy Cross College, Ryde in the 1800s.
Ross Sheerin has also served as Mayor of Hunters Hill. In 2005 this agency came under the banner of
Shipway Realty with the benefits of their invaluable experience combined with the vast local knowledge
of the existing team providing a stronghold in the area.
WEST RYDE
Originally started in 1976 as Summons & Francis Real Estate with Paul Summons & Stephen Francis.
Grew to become the dominant force of real estate in the local area.
Paul was born in Denistone and started his real estate career in 1971 and he and Stephen formed
Summons & Francis Real Estate in 1976. In 1982 they joined the First National Group. Stephen went
on to become the President of the Real Estate Institute of both New South Wales and Australia.
Since 1976 the business has grown with a very large property management, both residential and commercial.
In 2004 the office merged with Peter Shipway Realty having offices at Carlingford and West Ryde.
Paul Summons has stayed on and is still selling and listing homes.
